How To Close A Box Account When Someone Dies
Everything you need you'll need to close a Box account.
Service: Box is an online file sharing and personal cloud content management service that caters mainly to businesses.
How To Delete An Account: To deactivate a personal account, go to the Billing page HERE, enter the required information, then scroll down to “Account Information” and click “Cancel Subscription.”
You will then be asked to complete a short survey about the reasons you are canceling. Once you’ve selected the reasons you’re canceling your subscription, you will be notified that your account has been downgraded. If you want to completely delete your account, wait until you’ve been downgraded to a free (“Lite”) account and follow the same steps again.
Once you’ve reached the account settings page, you’ll see an option to delete your account completely. If you require assistance of don’t have the required login information, you can email box at billing@box.com or call at 1-877-729-4269.
