Fortune Feimster finds joy in a well-planned life
Pre-planning, organizing, passing on vital information and valuable instructions—that’s some valuable business to take care of.

Comedian Fortune Feimster spent some quality time with her mom, Ginger, at a funeral home recently. Was there an emergency? A death in the family? A tragic event?
No. Nothing like that at all.
The Feimsters were there, according to a viral social media post, to pre-plan Ginger’s funeral.
“You know, you just gotta take care of some life things,” Fortune said. “But Ging, we don’t plan on you going anywhere anytime soon.”
“Well I don’t plan to,” Ginger responded in the video, “but I just like to take care of business.”
Pre-planning, organizing, passing on vital information and valuable instructions—that’s some valuable business to take care of. And by doing it, Ginger gave her children and loved ones a truly valuable gift: Peace of mind.
“I don’t want the children to worry about it,” Ginger said.
Well said, Ginger! Ginger’s sentiment is the very heart of Everplans. We exist so that parents can leave a legacy, not a mess. So that loved ones can find vital information the moment it’s needed. So that friends and family can enjoy life knowing all the important pieces of their world are safely gathered in one convenient, super-secure location.
Fortune, known internationally for her appearances in movies like Zootopia 2, Paw Patrol, and The Dink, posted her experience on social media, and the hilarious and heartfelt report spread all over the internet.

It should be noted that neither Fortune Feimster nor her mother mentioned or endorsed Everplans. This is not an endorsement, paid or otherwise, of any kind. We simply saw this beautiful moment between a mother and her children, and we had to share it.
One more thing: the process of planning, securing, and organizing your life is often a surprisingly joyful occasion, as the Feimsters found out. They laughed together through the process, and left with smiles on their faces.
Thank you, Fortune and Ginger Feimster, for reminding us that organizing and protecting your legacy, aka “taking care of business,” is a wonderful act of love.
