If you’re planning on scattering the remains in a national park, you’ll need to apply for a permit from the National Parks Service. Every national park has a different application form for scattering permits.

Hiring A Company To Scatter The Ashes

There are a number of companies that will scatter the ashes for you. Some specialize in scattering ashes from a small airplane, while other will scatter the remains in remote or distant locations around the world or over a body of water.
