What is Everplans?
Everplans is a site that helps people deal with the logistics of end-of-life and death.
For more information about us, please read About Everplans.
Who should use Everplans?
Everplans is helpful to people who are:
- Planning way ahead (e.g. new families that need to set up life insurance and create wills)
- Getting ready for an approaching death (e.g. putting living wills and advance directives in place)
- Dealing with a death that has just occurred (e.g. making funeral plans, writing an obituary, working through estate issues)
- Supporting someone else who has experienced a loss (e.g. getting advice on what to say and what not to say, learning funeral etiquette)
How do I use Everplans?
Everplans is broken down into four main paths: Long Before a Death, Eldercare & End-of-Life, After a Death, and Be There for Someone. Depending on where you are in the process, you should start by selecting one of these four paths. Once you enter a path, you'll find a step-by-step process to help you get through everything you need to take care of based on your situation. Each step has lots of articles to help you learn more, and tools and resources like checklists and product guides to help you find what you need.
