Task: Create Your Ethical Will (Which Is Much Easier Than It Sounds)

Think of all the personal lessons, tips, and knowledge you would like to leave behind, whether it’s information about family history, things they loved about life (including meals, movies, books), and lessons you want to pass on to future generations.

This is called an “Ethical Will” but don’t let that super-official name get in the way of what it actually is (we’re more partial to calling it “Spill Your Life!” just to jazz it up a bit). It’s not a legal document like a Will or POA, but a personal, and at times even fun, activity to get this information on the record so it’s not lost to time forever.

The pandemic may have had you taking stock of your life, which makes it a good time to take your mind off the news and what’s to come and share the meaningful aspects of their life that makes life worth living.

The Task

We wanted to make this as easy as possible to complete so we created an Ethical Will (a.k.a. Spill Your Life!) that you can do on your own or with your family and upload it directly to your Everplan. We also suggest doing this with your parents so their stories aren’t lost forever.

Download it here and you’ll quickly realize how interesting and helpful it can be.
