How To Organize All Your Benefits And Pensions Information

You earned these benefits throughout your life. Don’t let them disappear when you or your family needs them.

If you are entitled to benefits from years of hard work, service in the military, a disability, or any other reason, you earned it. You also need to share the relevant info with your family and loved ones or else they could disappear into a bureaucratic void.

If you’re currently receiving or are due a pension at some point, here’s what you need to organize and share:

  • Account Number
  • Location of Pension Plan Documents
  • Associated Bank Account (if set up for direct deposit)

Social Security

Military Benefits

If you’re a veteran or a survivor, here’s what you should organize and share:

  • Account or DoD ID Number
  • Location of Relevant Forms & Documents (example: discharge papers)
  • Associated Bank Account (if set up for direct deposit)

Disability Benefits
